The Barrier
Today, the youth are the youngest generation of people who hold our shared future in their hands, with potential to drive social impact and economic growth in a fast-evolving world. However, African youth face considerable obstacles to accessing the resources and tools necessary for shaping the future. The digital divide, traditional educational systems designed for a world that no longer exists, along with climate and social disruptions, threatens to exclude a generation of potential innovators. We’re here to change that.
Our response
Our S.T.R.E.A.M Centers, deliver transformative programs that bridge the gap between traditional education systems and future-ready skills.Through digital literacy, design challenges, competitions, mentorship and incubation programs delivered through our S.T.R.E.A.M Centers, featuring an aeroponics greenhouse, a 3D printing makerspace, Engineering workshop, Art/theater and a Starlink-powered hybrid library, we provide hands-on access to the tools and technologies that drive innovation, positive change, and future work readiness. These centers empower youth with the skills and resources they need to tackle today's challenges while preparing them for the rapidly evolving workforce of tomorrow.

STA Empowerment Programs break down barriers for youth from across Uganda and beyond. Scholarships, mentorship, and inclusive learning environments create pathways to green careers for those who have been historically excluded from the sustainable energy and technology sectors.

The S.T.R.E.A.M center currently engages 40 enrolled students, focusing on equipping them with practical skills and access to emerging technologies and there are no graduates yet. Preparations are underway to establish a pop-up community center to expand access to digital literacy, mentorship, and leadership training for the broader community.
